    ICPMA AGM 2009 - Election of Officers

    Mr Jan Zemánek (Czech Republic) was elected President for 2009/10 at the 9th Annual ICPMA AGM, held in Berlin on May 8th 2009. Dr Louis Gunnigan (Republic of Ireland) was elected Senior Vice President. Dr Willhelm Reisman (Austria) was elected Vice President.  Ms Kristen Kressner (Germany) has been appointed as the new Secretary General.

    Adesh Jain (India) Honorary President, Dr. Ing. Rainer Schofer (GER), Stephane Maye (CH) Coop Member, Coop Member, Arnd Wittchen (GER) Treasurer 

    A major reorganisation of the association was approved at this meeting. Further details to follow.

  • CIB Joint International Symposium

    CIB JOINT INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM, Dubrovnik, Croatia, 27September – 01 October 2009

    The University of Zagreb, Faculty of Civil Engineering is organizing Joint International Symposium of CIB Working Commissions: W055: Building Economics and W065 Organization and Management in Construction. This is the prominent annual meeting hosting the best researchers, consultants, managers and experts from the fields of organization, management, and economy in construction. The theme of the symposium is “CONSTRUCTION FACING WORLWIDE CHALLENGES”. The goal is to present and exchange experience in the international construction sector. The International Councilfor Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB)is the renowned international association involving individuals and organizations from the field of civil engineering. The Conference at Dubrovnik is supported by prestigious international associations including:International Project Management Association (IPMA) and InternationalConstruction Project Management Association (ICPMA), local associations such as  the CroatianAssociation for Construction Management (HUOG) and the  CroatianAssociation for Project Management (CAPM).
